I am six weeks into my lean building phase which I plan on doing until this time next year. I am working with Dr. Mike Zourdos following a customized Daily Undulating Periodization program that I am really enjoying and learning a lot about this type of training. This week Mike had me testing my 1 RM for the big three lifts which I am pretty happy with, I recorded all three below. I know my form still needs work and the bench was ugly but its progress and I will continue to work on improving my form on these three key lifts. I weighed 193.2 lbs this morning so I have gained 6.2 lbs in the last 6 weeks which is a bit more than I had planned but I feel it’s been mostly muscle so all good! Long term is to gain about a half a pound a week and keep body fat under 10%.
