Warm up sets

Hi Dean, question for you. How many warm up sets/reps will you do before doing the working sets of the big 3? What is your weight progression on the warm up sets?

You've been putting up some great lifts lately, keep up the good work!

Hi Larry,

Good question. Here is what I do for the big 3.

Squat > Bar x 10, 135 x 6, 185 x 5, 225 x 4, 275 x 3, 1st working set.

Bench > Bar x 15, 135 x 5, 185 x 4, 225 x 3, 1st working set

Deadlift > 135 x 6, 225 x 5, 275 x 4, 315 x 3, 1st working set

The goal is to get my CNS fired up without getting fatigued before I get to my working sets.

Very happy with my progress of late just need to keep healthy and try and get all my training days in.
