Hi Larry,

Good to hear you are getting used to and enjoying the higher reps for squats.
Another trick we used to do back in the day for squats was to put our heels on a 1 inch block/piece of wood or a weight plate under each heel. This throws more emphasis on the quads, a bit like doing front squats or 'Sissy Squats'. If you haven't heard of Sissy Squats, look them up and see what you can find.

Thanks Graham - very interesting reading. I finally know now how it got the name "Sissy" - for Sisyphus, out of Greek mythology.

I'm doing squats and front squats now, and I will give Sissy Squats a try as well - looks like a great way to work the quads without beating up the joints with heavy weights.
