Block 4 - Week 8 - Day 1 - Deload

Morning weight 183.8 lbs

45 minutes walking on treadmill - 300 kcal

Trap Bar Squat 2 x 8 x 185 lbs
Bench 2 x 8 x 185 lbs
Cable Row 2 x 8 x 190 lbs
Calf Raise 2 x 8 x 210 lbs
Rear Delt 2 x 10 x 40 lbs

So I missed my last training session last week. I was sick and took Friday and the weekend off to recover. I did not bother doing a vlog as no much to talk about and with all the craziness going on in the world I just felt like I needed some time to just sort all this out. I also did not attend the WNBF Calgary Workshop because of being ill and not wanting to make anyone sick or uncomfortable.

My weekly average last week was 184.4 so I lost 1.8 lbs from the previous week and 10.2 lbs in 11 weeks. This is also day two of ten at my new low of 1784 calories a day.

Morning weight 183.6

45 minutes walking on treadmill - 300 kcal

Inc Bench 2 x 8 x 155 lbs
Lat Pulldown 2 x 8 x 260 lbs
Leg Ext 2 x 8 x 260 lbs
Leg Curl 2 x 8 x 260 lbs

Work has been crazy stressful these last few days. Was good to go in and take it out in the weights today. With all the craziness going on right now this is one area of my life I have 100% control over and is providing comfort.

So quick update. The WNBF Winnipeg and Calgary shows that I was in contest prep for have been cancelled. They are planning to have some extra show in the fall but that is 6 months away and after dieting for the last 50 weeks I don't think it's good to try and tread water for 6 months to complete in those shows so I have officially ended prep.

Go forward plan is to take the next ten months and not diet and just focus on building muscle with the goal of being in the low 190's by the end of the year. This will allow me to enjoy the summer eat a bit more food and take a break from dieting for awhile which i think is important. I will be starting a new journal here in the coming days.
