With the end of the year fast approaching we all tend to look back at our year and then set goals we would like to achieve in the new year. For a lot of people losing some weight or getting in better shape is often on that list. This is certainly validated by the number of new faces I have seen show up at the gym in January and February every year, much to the chagrin of regular gym members.
When people try new things they look for what’s the best? The best diet, the best training program, the best way to gain muscle, etc. Makes sense, if you are going to invest your time and energy into doing something that you would want to utilize the best diet, program, or exercises. Unfortunately I think this mindset can set us up to fail. If you have struggled at losing weight, struggled at getting into shape, or you have had some success but have been struggling lately, then I encourage you to watch this video by Jordan Syatt.
When I started blogging again this year I said I was not going to promote other people but focus on just sharing my own journey, but I think this video by Jordan is just too good not to share. He encapsulates a lot of what I have just figured out for myself over the last month and I have been training and dieting for over 5 years.
